Wet Day

The view didn't change all day -- dark and misty with intermittent rain . . .

Though it wasn't cold (see the open windows,) it was a day to be thankful for shelter . . .
And rawhide chew-bones . . .

Bleakly beautiful outdoors, snug and warm inside. I love all the wood in your home, Vicki! And your new pup is looking marvellous! Such contentment and concentration.

The humidity is kicking our butts. I wouldn't have dared open a window, everything would have ended up feeling soggy. Thank goodness for AC.

Some moody and atmospheric shots here, Vicki.

We're enjoying the rain over here, as we've been quite dry, and we're also enjoying mild temperatures also, BUT when the normal colder weather moves in I'm afraid it's really going to be a shock. Aaaah, so it goes ....

What a perfect reading day! We need rain bad and should get it today. It was 82 an HUMID yesterday and I'm ready for a taste of winter!
Your pictures are great! XO

I love the rainy days we've had of late. I missed this kind of weather more than anything when we lived in southern California. Who would have thought? Jim

Strange, wasn't it? It looked so dreary and yet so warm. I read for most of the day since I couldn't see the dog hairs and dust.

It's a somber beauty out your windows. We have the rain and bleak here, minus the mountain scenery. I like yours better.
I love the view through your dining room, your decor and your happy pup. Hope the weather clears for you soon. Until then, I'd keep looking at that sunflower!
